In 1992, I built my current studio and home in the western hills of Austin. Even thought the address for the studio is on the colorfully named North Tumbleweed Trail, you will not find much tumbleweed; however, you will find the dramatic landscape for which the hill country of Texas is known and that helped entice me to move to this exquisite place; however, my life is more than clay and porcelain.
In 1987, I married Terra Hardin, giving me new inspiration and encouragement. The births of my son and daughter have rounded out my personal life with great joy and depth of purpose. Blending home and work is a genuine blessing. Over the years, my family has become my partners in work, often traveling with me to shows and exhibits.
